ANOTHER FANTASTIC RUN!

Glasgow Green Cycle Club had 12 in the group last night and another 3 fully paid up members.

Thanks to everyone who came along last night. We have some great weather for the 29 miles up to Strathaven. 

A small set back to the start of the night with Graeme getting a puncture after a mile though a quick change we were all off and riding in no time. The group rode really well together with everyone staying together. As the ride went on there were some fantastic efforts in the "sprints to the the 30's"

There was a reading on one of the group showing 56mph being achieved on the road back towards Hamilton though we now have confirmation that the batteries were failing on the GPS!!! Why do we know this??? well the same GPS show a speed of 74mph while the bike was being walked back to the car!. Ah well a short moment of glory!

With some fantastic press over the past few days in the Daily Record as well as the Sky Ride website, GGCC is now becoming one of the fastest growing bike clubs in Glasgow.
