GGCC ‘The Valley and The Crow’ – Sunday 30th November 2022
The final championship event of the 2021 season…….who will be crowned champions?

This Sunday we will be hosting the final event of the 2022 Club Confined Championship…….a great event in its 2nd year, that will take you from Strathblane to the top of Crow Road!....a challenging 7.7 mile route that caters for everyone…….the roulers, the flat landers and the climbers!
We will be based in Strathblane, **there is a small car park opposite the church and sign on will be there, sign on opens at 9.15 and race briefing will be at 9.45. First rider off at 10.01am. After event refreshments will be at McDonalds in Kirkintollch as they were after the hill climb.
Please be there in plenty of time to sign on, get your number and get warmed up.
Please meet under the McLennan Arch on the green for 8:30am sharp start to ride out to Strathblane or meet at The Kirkhouse if you are driving.
For those leaving from the Arch on Sunday morning, we will go through some basic safety, first aid and basic bike maintenance before we set off so that everyone stays safe and knows exactly what’s happening on the ride up the sign on.
For those coming straight up to Strathblane, we will see you near the church.
PLEASE CAN EVERYONE BE SIGNED ON AND READY FOR THE RACE BRIEFING FOR 9.45am*
Can all marshalls be ready for their briefing at 9.30am
Marshalls will set you off, be positioned at key junctions and be at the top to take your time.
We will need names and DOB when you sign on please – Wee Dobbo will be looking after sign on so sign your name and then give me the detail for the electronic time sheet
Categories are as per Club Championship and winners allocated as such.
Weather – partly cloudy with light rain showers and a 50-60% chance or rain so please dress warm! A moderate breeze gusting to 16mph from the south and up at 13 degrees.
