Hi all,
On October 21st, Andy, Ray and 3 friends will ride over 300 miles in 3 days to raise as much money as possible for CHAS.
We have chosen a route that is challenging and will really test us in what will be I am sure some tough weather!
We start in Blackpool and head to Carlisle on day 1 through the Lakes District over some steep, steep roads........like Kirkstone Pass!! and cover 105 miles.
We then head east towards Newcastle following the old Roman Road and end up in Coldstream in the Borders after covering 102 miles.......day 2 will probably be into a nice wee head wind all day!
The last day covers 100 miles and heads back home to Glasgow up through Peebles and along some of the nicest roads we have.
