Glasgow Green Cycle Club

GGCC are committed to ensuring that each and every member of our club gets the most out of every ride and we are keen to make sure that we take part in as many cycling disciplines as possible.............so in the very near future we will be planning a mountain bike ride(s).

There are a number of members who are keen to get 'dirty on a bike' and hit the trails so watch this space for details.

We have the opportunity to sample what will be the Commonwealth MTB course right on our doorstep up at Cathkin Braes, we have Carron Valley and its red trails and we also have what is rated as the Number 1 trail centre in the UK only 1 hour away.......Glentress which has green, blue, red and black routes to choose from!

Neil, our key sponsor can hire / loan a certain number of bikes for those that want to 'try before they buy' and depending on where we go there are a number of hire facilities at reasonable prices. 

Mountain Biking is an excellent way to refine those bike handling skills that will ultimately make you a more skillful and more rounded cycle rider!
