Communication is key on a club run

29 May 2012

Jim Murray of Glasgow Green Cycle Club has kindly taken the time to put together a video highlighting the importance of communication when on a club run.

I would encourage any club rider to take the time to watch this video

At GGCC we welcome all levels of cyclists to enjoy the benefits of group cycling in that it can help you get fitter, build confidence on your bike, gain new skills and most of all enjoy riding your bike.

One important part of any organised club run is that everyone is familiar with group riding etiquette. We at GGCC take time at the start of every club run to explain the basic hand signals and calls you expect on any run. By watching this video it will give you a real idea of what to expect and will no doubt help you when you are out with any group.

Thanks again to Jim for putting this really useful video for our club and we hope you find it useful for the next time you go out on your bike with a group.
