Wednesday 12th September Club Run

12 Sep 2012

Wednesday 12th September GGCC Club Ride - 'The Strathaven Stormer'

'Strathaven Stormer' - Clockwise so Sydes Brae will be the 'warm up', into Strathaven and then onto East Kilbride then back down Greenlees Road and into Cambuslang.

Due to nights getting darker we have chosen this route in this direction as we will hit the lit roads of East Kilbride just when its getting dusk so we are not out on unlit / country roads in the dark. (safety)

Forecast is for a dry and sunny night with temps up at 12 degrees and a light wind.

Meet at 6.45pm for a 7pm sharp start at the McDonalds at the end of London Road where the start of the new M74 is.

We will be splitting as per the new format - steady, challenge and race pace at certain points throughout the ride, so that each member gets exactly what they want and need from the club run. We will also do some 'lead out' practice once we get into East Kilbride.

**PLEASE ENSURE YOU COME PREPARED WITH GOOD LIGHTS FRONT AND REAR** and please remember tubes, pump, levers, multitool.

We look forward to hopefully seeing you.

From all the team @ GGCC
