Sunday 16th September GGCC Club Run - 'Eaglesham Moor Route'
This Sunday we will head south over Eaglesham Moor and stop for our coffee at the Whitelee Wind farm before tackling some 'chain-gang' riding on the A77.
We will meet under the McLennan Arch on the green for a 8:30am sharp start and look forward to seeing everyone.
We will go through some basic safety tips and group riding etiquette before we set off so that everyone stays safe and knows exactly whats happening on the ride.
Weather is to be around 10 - 13 degrees. Chances of rain so please come prepared
We will split into STEADY, CHALLENGE and RACE PACE at defined points along the route.
We will split prior to Eaglesham village and get back together at the windfarm. We will l then split again at the end of the Eaglesham Moor road.
Everyone will turn left after Eaglesham Moor and split again and we will go over specific of routes on sunday, but below is basic -
Steady will go to 1st roundabout and then turn back for town.
Challenge will go to 2nd roundabout and then turn back for town.
Race Pace will go to last roundabout and then turn back for town (or do the Fenwick Loop depending on demand and numbers)
Please pick you group carefully and remember that steady is the only group that holds back and does not drop anyone.
**Please remember tubes, pump, levers, multitool and also please ensure your bike is in good working order, oiled, lubed, maintained and clean so if there is a mechanical we can work on it without getting filthy, Thanks**
Please take time to look over the route which is shown on the link below.
