We will be having a "Club Night" in Dales over the coming weeks which will cover all stuff mechanical. The team @ Dales Cycles are keen to help us and have offered to run through some basic bike maintenance checks we can all carry out out prior to a ride and also run through how to carry our some basic roadside repairs.
Your bike takes more of battering through the winter so all we ask is that you regularly check your tyres, brakes, chain, steering etc as we all want to stay safe.
With the chance of punctures increasing at this time of year, can we ask that everyone comes prepared with a couple of tubes, pump, canisters, multitool etc. We all get caught out now and again, so the more prepared we are as a group on the road the easier each run will be. Remember we have the tube and canister replacement scheme in place to help everyone should they need it.
The team @ Dales Cycles are always happy to help when giving advice on what you may need to make your cycle rides as enjoyable and hassle free as possible, so give them a shout.
