GGCC Club Run details - Sunday 3rd March

01 Mar 2013

Sunday 3rd March GGCC Club Run - 'Coffee n Cakes @ 'The Clubhouse' and Eaglesham Moor Route' 44 miles.

This Sunday we will head south over Eaglesham Moor, then on to the A77 down towards Fenwick and then back into town and straight to our 'Clubhouse' for 'Coffee n Cakes @ Dales'.
This will be the 2nd of our monthly gatherings at 'The Clubhouse' for coffee n cakes so we will be doing our ride non stop.

We will meet under the McLennan Arch on the green for a 8:30am sharp start and look forward to seeing everyone.

We will go through some basic safety tips and group riding etiquette before we set off so that everyone stays safe and knows exactly whats happening on the ride.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE ROUTE PRIOR TO SUNDAYS RIDE.

Weather should dry and up at 5 - 7 degrees with only a very slight breeze so looks like another great day to be on 2 wheels!!

We will split into STEADY, CHALLENGE and RACE PACE at defined points along the route.

We will split prior to Eaglesham village and get back together at the Eaglesham Moor road end junction / A77 junction briefly before setting off again in our groups up and down the A77.

As the groups join the A77, we will split into groups which will be covering varying distances on the A77. Everyone will then meet up at the Malletsheugh to re-group before heading back into town together to 'The Clubhouse' / Dales.

Steady will go to 2nd roundabout and then turn back for town.
Challenge will go to last roundabout and then turn back for town.
Race Pace may go to last roundabout and then do the Fenwick Loop.

PLEASE pick you group carefully and remember that steady is the only group that holds back and does not drop anyone.

**Please remember tubes, pump, levers, multitool and also please ensure your bike is in good working order, oiled, lubed, maintained **

We look forward to seeing you all Sunday.

From all the team @ GGCC
