Glasgow Green Cycle Club

Club Run Details for Wednesday 1st May. 7pm - 8:30pm, Outdoor Track, Emirates Arena, 1000 London Rd, Glasgow G40 3HY.

As some of you will already know, we have booked the outdoor Criterium Circuit at the Emirates Arena (Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome) for a skills session and informal racing.

We ask that you all travel to the Emirates arena and we will all meet in the car park on the right as you drive/cycle in. 

Andy Dobinson will be at the McDonalds to meet any riders who will turn up at the usual meeting place.

Ray Hicks will meet you all in the car park at the Circuit.

We will have full mechanical support from Dales Cycles who will have the mobile workshop on hand if anyone needs assistance.

Craig McCulloch from Scottish Cycling will be carrying out a cycle skills training session on the closed road circuit.

The format is we will run through some skills sessions then put them into practice on the course. The overall session will last 90 mins.

The charge will be £2 per rider as the hire of the course is £80. 

We have around 30 members looking to ride so we need a few more to cover the cost.
