As normal for our ride out and ride back, the group leaders will be identified prior to setting off in order that each group runs as smoothly as possible.

We will go through some basic safety, group riding etiquette and group riding technique, first aid and basic bike maintenance before we set off so that everyone stays safe and knows exactly what’s happening on the ride.

For those of you who are first aid trained and have been issued first aid pack, can you please bring these along on Sunday (and each run you attend)

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE ROUTE PRIOR TO SUNDAYS RIDE.

http://connect.garmin.com/course/8215164

Forecast is to be overcast and wet so please dress for rain and some hanging about. There is a 90% chance of rain and potentially heavy, around 8 degrees, with a 14mph wind from the SW gusting to around 29 mph

Please do dress for some hanging around and there will be vehicles to store spare kit and as ever the Dales team and gazeebo will be there for extra support and cover.

We will split into STEADY, CHALLENGE and CHEEKY CHALLENGE (no race pace on Sunday) - for the return leg only NOT on way out to the Crow Road

Everyone will take the same route so if you choose the wrong group or get dropped from the Cheeky Challenge or Challenge groups, there will always be a group coming up that you can join.

An idea of the pace each group should ride @ are -

Steady IS steady at about 14 -16mph

Challenge should stretch you at around 16mph - 18mph

Cheeky Challenge is around 18mph - 20mph

Pick you group carefully and remember that steady is the only group that holds back and does not drop anyone.

**Please remember tubes, pump, levers, multitool and also please ensure your bike is in good working order, oiled, lubed, maintained and clean**
