GGCC Club Run, Sunday 15th December 2024 - Santa Social Run to Dumbarton.

Ho Ho Ho.........with Christmas just around the corner ......its time to break out the Santa Hats and Tinsel!! Its time for our Xmas social ride, so go crazy with the Xmas decorations and get yourself and your bike dressed up and decorated for Xmas.

In the past we have had mini Xmas trees on panniers, flashing frames, baubles, tinsel, Santa hats and elves and penguins!! So lets see what craziness turns up this year!

Please meet under the McLennan Arch on the Green for 8.30 am start.

We plan to head west to Dumbarton where we will invade McDonalds like a troop of little elves!!

We will head out of town along Broomielaw, round the back of the SECC and past the Riverside Museum, along South Street, via Yoker to Clydebank, Old Kilpatrick, Bowling and on to Dumbarton before returning the same way.

This is a social ride for fun so no paced groups and a good chance to round off the year with some banter and fun.

We will go through some basic safety, first aid and basic bike maintenance before we set off so that everyone stays safe and knows exactly what’s happening on the ride - make sure your baubles aren't hanging too low!?!?

For those of you who are first aid trained and have been issued first aid pack, can you please bring these along on Sunday (and each run you attend)

We've posted this a few days earlier than normal to give time to get your bikes decorated - so just keep an eye on the forecast nearer the weekend.

Groups should contain between 10 - 12 riders.

Lets round off what has been a fantastic 2024 doing what we do best, riding our bikes and having some bants!!
