January update from the Team @ GGCC.
A lot has being going on with the club this month and we wanted to give you all an update.
The remaining items from the Endura order are ready for collection on the 20th January. The service we have had from Endura clothing has been excellent and we will be placing another order with them in the very near future. If any of the members are looking for club clothing (unless Billy Bilsland has your size and item) then let us know and we will start to compile another order. The order form can be found on the GGCC Clothing page of our website.
The new club routes for the Sunday run have went down well with our members so far. As you may know we have trialled heading out together then splitting into two groups (steady pace/chase pace) with both groups meeting at the Boathouse in Kilsyth for a well-deserved coffee stop. We are in discussions with the owner of the Boathouse to giving GGCC members a discount each week. The club has also obtained a loyalty card which allows us to build up enough points which can then be used to subsidise our drinks every so often.
Welcome to the new members who have joined us this month so far. Lee, Ross, Michael, Jonathan and James have come along to the club and are looking forward to being a part of GGCC. As you know, the club is always looking to attract new members. Please feel free to bring along your friends and family to join the “friendliest Cycle Club in Glasgow”.
As many of you are aware there is a GGCC night out on the 27th of this month. The venue is the Grosvenor Café in Ashton lane @ 7:30pm. Everyone is more than welcome to come along and catch up with the rest of the members in a warmer environment than the club runs have been in the previous weeks.
We welcome your feedback and please make sure you let us know if you have any suggestions to improve any area of the club. We look forward to hearing from you.
As always, thanks from the Team @ GGCC.
