Club Training Session Number Three - 26th March 2014
GGCC's very own Paul Bailey is currently working through his British Cycling coaching Qualifications and is willing to share some of his knowledge across our club.
Each session is on a Wednesday night and will replace the planned club run.
The sessions will all start at 7pm at the outdoor circuit at the Emirates Arena/Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome.
All of the sessions will be based around group riding, including close riding, calls, techniques, and the odd race for some fun. The sessions will also include other skills, gears, peddling techniques etc.
Facilities will be in the Emirates should anyone require anything and hopefully get everyone in the velodrome for the last races of the night to cheer on our club riders.
All cones, training equipment and first aid will be provided by Paul, so all you need to bring along is your own bikes, helmets and smiles
No prerequisites, just the ability to listen or bring a signer if required. Beginners will gain most but the techniques will be beneficial to all in a controlled environment, not at race pace.
It may be an idea to bring some warmer clothing as there will be points during the session where you are not riding.
We look forward to seeing you all on these nights. In the past these sessions have been very well received and invaluable to us all as cyclists.
Thanks Paul for offering to support the club.
