GGCC Club Run, Sunday 25th January 2015 - South & 48 Miles

Please meet under the McLennan Arch on the green for 8:30am sharp start.

We plan to head south this weekend to Fenwick and back over Eaglesham moor.  We have confirmation from the Fenwick Hotel that they have a function room available for us.

We will go through some basic safety, first aid and basic bike maintenance before we set off so that everyone stays safe and knows exactly what’s happening on the ride.

The group leaders will be identified prior to setting off in order that each paced group runs as smoothly as possible.

For those of you who are first aid trained and have been issued first aid pack, can you please bring these along on Sunday (and each run you attend) Everyone head out of town in groups of 10-12 and make their way to the Old Malletsheugh Inn where we will regroup and then the paced groups will set off using the Stewarton Road.

The cheeky Challenge Groups will take a left at Kilmaurs with the challenge and steady groups turning left at the traffic lights at Stewarton.

All groups will meet at the Fenwick Hotel (or at the windfarm). We will collect the £2 from everyone at the coffee stop. Each group will set off in groups and travel back up the A77 towards Glasgow over the Eaglesham moor using the B764 back towards East Kilbride.

Each group will make their own way back to Glasgow Green.

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AT THE ROUTE PRIOR TO SUNDAYS RIDE.
