As you are all aware we are closely monitoring the current situation with regards to group riding and will do all we can to have 'official' GGCC group rides back as soon as possible.
Our sunday rides will as ever continue throughout the year with our usual 2 week break over Christmas and New Year so all being well rides will hopefully start up again soon and run until 20 December and then start back up again on 10th January 2021.
Our Wednesday official rides always stop around October time and start up again in the spring. You will see that 'The Winter Splinter' rides have been posted up so these will be 'unofficial' group rides over the winter months as official GGCC rides will start back on Wednesday 3rd March 2021. Even for the Winter Splinter rides please do keep in mind the guidelines for group activity and stay within the boundaries of what we can, cant, should and shouldn't be doing as a group of cyclists.
We will also put some thought into what events if any can be provided for you as a club this year and also what we can provide as an Xmas event for our yearly celebrations.
Thanks once again for your patience and understanding and yes....2020 has been a 'non-event' in terms of activity but again if normality resumes or a new version of normality plans are already afoot for what will be a great 2021.
