Club Run 7th November details

05 Nov 2012

Wednesday 7th November GGCC Club Ride - East Kilbride Roundabout Run.

Can we ask for some ride leaders to step forward and help with the run this week?

Andy and I will not make it this week unfortunately. Please get in touch and let us know who is all planning on heading out and we can make sure we have all the bases covered in relation to groups, first aiders etc.

Its the East Kilbride Roundabout Run so Greenlees Road as the warm up and then onto East Kilbride. We will the work on some group rotation and chain-gang up and down The Queensway before heading back via Castlemilk.

Route details

Forecast is to be a little drizzly with temperatures up at 9 degrees.

Meet at 6.45pm for a 7pm sharp start at the McDonalds at the end of London Road near the junction of the M74.

We will be splitting as per the new format - steady, challenge and race pace at certain points throughout the ride. Each member will get exactly what they want and need from the club run. Please pick your group carefully and remember that Steady is the only group that rides at the pace of the slowest rider. There will be bail out points on this course if you choose one of the faster groups and then choose to drop off the pace.

**PLEASE ENSURE YOU COME PREPARED WITH GOOD LIGHTS FRONT AND REAR** and please remember tubes, pump, levers, multitool.
